Still no luck

I tried everything tonight. I played a little limit hold 'em (50c/$1), I played a little pot limit hold 'em (10c/25c), I played a little Crazy Pineapple, all to no avail (another -$50). I am desperate at this point and am seriously considering blowing this whole thing off. Gah!!!! I know that I do not actually mean that, and that these feelings will subside sometime around lunch tomorrow, but that is the level of frustration that I am feeling at this instant. It is to the point where when I play a hand, I am EXPECTING to lose it. This is the problem, sitting down at the table with the expectation of losing is NOT the way to play but I do not know how to combat it. I've tried taking a few days off, I've tried playing other games, I've tried switching to tournaments...I don't know what else to do.

Look man, you have to stay the course. You have to set goals and try your best to achieve them. Sometimes you''ll achieve your goals sooner than you expect and other times it will take a little longer due to the unexpected. If you are playing your "A" game and you keep getting outdrawn and unlucky there isn't much else you can do. Of course you know this is just variance and if you keep playing a solid game and stay wsithin your bankroll things WILL CHANGE.

Being able to cope with and overcome adversity is what sets us great players apart from the rest of the field. I'm a firm believer in this and I'm also having a rough month and taking a ton of bad beats which I will spare you the details for moment.

Stay positive, keep playing solid, stay within your bankroll and things will change!
